Advocacy Wiki Groups!
After completing our group advocacy group wiki I saw the benefits of a group wiki and some of the problems that may occur with a project grouping wiki. Our group did an outstanding job when we were together and not apart but issues in a school setting could occur like our group if someone is not there to see what the group is working on or planning to do. A student in the group who is absent or not able to do there part of assignment by not being there at school without good communication from the group could lead to the present group members doing more then others and not involving the student who was absent. To use this type of wiki it must be very structured and assignments would need to be assigned by a possible group leader each meeting day to the teacher so that everyone has a part and knows what direction the group is taking in the advocacy while also fairly assigning parts to each member. Does this sound like anyone elses groups or did anyone have any similar experiences from the advocacy groups that could be shared?
